The Social Outreach Committee was founded in 1998 for the purpose of making the parish family more consciously aware of the poor in our midst, – physically, emotionally and spiritually. The committee coordinates our parishioners’ food donations to the Jonnycake Center weekly. Social Outreach organizes the annual ‘Baby Shower’. Many social agencies are the recipients of the donations that come in from the ‘Baby Shower’ and support for those families who have chosen life. We keep track of those who have died and follow up after an appropriate time with phone calls, visits, and ongoing referrals and contacts when requested.
The committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM in Fr. Greenan Parish Center. If you are interested in joining contact the parish office.
